ticket holders and Alliance members will vote on retention or lack of confidence for Seattle Sounders FC General Manager Adrian Hanauer, beginning on Sunday, October 7 at noon PT. Vote online here at SoundersFCVote.com.

Sounders FC season ticket members will have the option to vote online at SoundersFCVote.com or in-person at one of the October league matches at CenturyLink Field, October 7, 17, or 21. The vote will begin on Sunday, October 7 at noon PT and conclude on Friday, December 7 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

Sounders FC season ticket members will need their primary email address, which is registered with the team, and their account ID which is located on their ticket or membership card.

The team will staff four voting locations at CenturyLink Field at each league match in October. Those locations include the following:

  • Field Plaza, just north of the Pro Shop
  • South Main Concourse, near section 118
  • Root Sports Lounge Lobby, Club Level
  • NE Club Lounge


Voting at the stadium will be open 90 minutes before the first kick and during halftime.

GM Vote Featured in the New York Times

Mary Pilon of the New York Times recently featured the Sounders FC vote and its uniqueness in American professional sports:

Beginning Sunday, and ending Dec. 7, Sounders fans will head to the polls (at the stadium or online from home) and cast ballots on whether the team should retain Hanauer.

“At first, it sounded like a gimmick,” said Kevin Zelko, the founder of the Gorilla F.C. fan club. “But now we’re getting to do it. It’s great to see it happen.”
